Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.25%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.25% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which rose 2.94% or 500 points to trade at 17520 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 2.74% or 29.0 points to end at 1086.0 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.58% or 465 points to 18495 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which fell 1.74% or 27.0 points to trade at 1523.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 1.60% or 4.4 points to end at 269.9 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 0.91% or 7.2 points to 785.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 59 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.94% or 0.79 to $84.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.15% or 0.97 to hit $85.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.75% or 13.45 to trade at $1809.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.4068, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4389.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 93.795.
