Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.18%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.95% or 16.40 points to trade at 573.20 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.89% or 420.00 points to end at 14,960.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.79% or 415.00 points to 15,280.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 1.40% or 6.80 points to trade at 479.60 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 0.93% or 1.30 points to end at 138.80 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.69% or 19.00 points to 2,721.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 63 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.88% or 0.72 to $82.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.30% or 1.14 to hit $88.77 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 4.55 to trade at $1,923.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 101.82.
