Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.11%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.11% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 2.92% or 11.3 points to trade at 398.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.12% or 8.3 points to end at 750.4 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.63% or 7.0 points to 1119.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.27% or 6.2 points to trade at 184.7 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 2.50% or 79 points to end at 3084 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 1.34% or 21.0 points to 1548.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 55 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.12% or 8.3 to 750.4.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.84% or 0.67 to $79.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.49% or 0.40 to hit $81.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 3.25 to trade at $1863.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.5548, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4363.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 95.718.
