Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.04%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.04% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which rose 3.60% or 29.8 points to trade at 858.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 0.98% or 10.5 points to end at 1082.5 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 0.95% or 4.5 points to 479.7 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 1.96% or 355 points to trade at 17765 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 1.82% or 320 points to end at 17270 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 1.35% or 2.1 points to 156.6.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 72 and 10 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) rose to 5-year highs; rising 0.95% or 4.5 to 479.7.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.72% or 0.53 to $74.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.90% or 0.68 to hit $75.84 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 7.75 to trade at $1813.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.2957, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4375.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 92.543.
