Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.03%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.03%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.45% or 475 points to trade at 19860 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 2.36% or 4.3 points to end at 188.8 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 2.28% or 9.1 points to 408.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 2.45% or 5.7 points to trade at 226.7 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 2.01% or 56.0 points to end at 2732.0 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 2.00% or 2.55 points to 124.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 56 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.59% or 2.03 to $76.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.49% or 2.02 to hit $79.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 3.10 to trade at $1864.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.52% to 6.5733, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4365.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 95.858.
