Costco Comparable Store Sales Rise 15.3% in July

Investing — Costco reported Wednesday comparable store sales grew 10.1% in July, driven by growth in its domestic markets.

Costco Wholesale Corp (NASDAQ:COST) was flat in aftermarket hours.

Net sales rose to $70.8 billion in the four weeks ended Aug. 28, an increase of 15.3% from $61.4 billion last year.

Comparable sales in the U.S. and Canada led the gains, both up 11% and 11.6% respectively in July, while international was up 3.4%.

E-commerce sales were up 3.9% in May.
