AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc.’s shares fell 4.2% in premarket trading Thursday, after the stock plunged to a record-low close Wednesday.
Shares of the movie-theater chain and meme-stock darling ended Wednesday’s session down 36.8% to close at $8.62 after AMC AMC filed a prospectus for the sale of up to 40 million shares. AMC’s previous record-low close was $10.73 on Jan. 5, 2021.
