U.S. Bancorp announced earnings per share of $1.28 on revenue of $5.78B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $1.12 on revenue of $5.62B.

U.S. Bancorp shares are up 22.32% from the beginning of the year, still down 8.77% from its 52 week high of $62.47 set on May 18. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is up 16.46% from the start of the year.
