President Donald Trump on Monday put new pressure on Speaker Nancy Pelosi to move the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade deal through the House, saying it’d be her fault if the U.S.’s partner nations pull out.

‘INCAPABLE OF MOVING IT’

Speaking in the Oval Office alongside Bulgaria’s prime minister, the president said it appeared California Democrat Pelosi was “incapable of moving” the deal to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement.

On Friday, Pelosi said she wasn’t sure there would be enough time to finish by the end of the year, even if lawmakers and the Trump administration struck an agreement on the deal. Democrats and the White House have been negotiating for months.

A trade reporter noted that neither Canada nor Mexico have said they intend to pull out.

HERO DOG WELCOMED

Also Monday, Trump welcomed to the White House Conan, the military dog who was injured while chasing down ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
