The Fed: Fed sees some pickup in economy, but maintains dovish policy stance

The Federal Reserve on Wednesday maintained its dovish policy stance. In a statement, the central bank noted there has been some pickup in the economy since June but that activity still remains well below levels seen prior to the pandemic.
