Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.61% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:), which rose 9.93% or 1.40 points to trade at 15.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:) added 5.03% or 0.36 points to end at 7.51 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:) was up 4.00% or 1.00 points to 26.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:), which fell 4.00% or 1.03 points to trade at 24.72 at the close. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:) declined 3.09% or 0.29 points to end at 9.10 and Alujain Corporation (SE:) was down 2.60% or 0.54 points to 20.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 105 to 74 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.09% or 0.29 to 9.10.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.52% or 0.87 to $56.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.23% or 0.77 to hit $61.74 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.15 to trade at $1461.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 4.1393, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 98.010.
