Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.55%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.55%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 1.46% or 19 points to trade at 1320 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 1.11% or 38 points to end at 3458 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 0.77% or 740 points to 96740 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 4.39% or 70 points to trade at 1526 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 2.22% or 3100 points to end at 136470 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was down 2.01% or 55 points to 2679.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 282 to 226 and 28 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.33% or 0.25 to $75.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.37% or 0.29 to hit $78.38 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 6.35 to trade at $1804.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.59% to 3.1177, while EUR/ILS rose 0.88% to 3.5359.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 95.915.
