Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.54%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.54% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which rose 3.89% or 410 points to trade at 10940 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 3.14% or 590 points to end at 19350 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.81% or 760 points to 27760 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 8.53% or 2900 points to trade at 31090 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 3.38% or 159 points to end at 4540 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was down 3.37% or 139 points to 3982.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 261 to 173 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.62% or 0.39 to $63.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.15% or 0.10 to hit $66.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.13% or 20.30 to trade at $1777.60 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.51% to 3.2794, while EUR/ILS rose 1.04% to 4.0089.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 89.825.
