Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.21%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.21%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 5.70% or 69.00 points to trade at 1,279.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) added 2.51% or 86.00 points to end at 3,519.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 1.77% or 39.00 points to 2,245.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 4.32% or 40.30 points to trade at 893.00 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 2.91% or 141.00 points to end at 4,711.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) was down 1.69% or 240.00 points to 13,960.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 264 to 224 and 32 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.93% or 0.92 to $100.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.56% or 0.60 to hit $106.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.85 to trade at $1,711.05 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.18% to 3.44, while EUR/ILS rose 0.80% to 3.52.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.71% at 106.47.
