Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.59%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.59%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 2.34% or 31 points to trade at 1358 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 2.24% or 74 points to end at 3378 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.06% or 830 points to 41060 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 2.87% or 59 points to trade at 1997 at the close. Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) declined 2.64% or 216 points to end at 7976 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 1.01% or 480 points to 47220.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 296 to 201 and 33 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.38% or 0.30 to $78.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.15% or 0.12 to hit $82.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 5.40 to trade at $1789.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.47% to 3.1600, while EUR/ILS rose 0.64% to 3.5439.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 96.733.
