Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.52%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.52%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 2.27% or 910 points to trade at 41000 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TASE:LUMI) added 2.24% or 68 points to end at 3104 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) was up 2.17% or 42 points to 1975 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which fell 1.90% or 230 points to trade at 11850 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 1.65% or 55 points to end at 3285 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was down 1.55% or 200 points to 12700.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 328 to 175 and 27 ended unchanged.

Shares in Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) fell to 5-year lows; down 1.90% or 230 to 11850. Shares in Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) rose to all time highs; rising 2.17% or 42 to 1975.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.89% or 2.65 to $70.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.45% or 2.47 to hit $74.06 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.65 to trade at $1786.45 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.66% to 3.1676, while EUR/ILS fell 1.08% to 3.5696.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.368.
