Henry Schein Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q4

Henry Schein announced earnings per share of $1 on revenue of $3.17B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $0.995 on revenue of $2.88B.

Henry Schein shares are up 5% from the beginning of the year, still down 5.76% from its 52 week high of $74.89 set on January 13. They are broadly in line with the S&P 500 which is up 4.7% from the start of the year.

Henry Schein’s report follows an earnings beat by J&J on January 26, who reported EPS of $1.86 on revenue of $22.48B, compared to forecasts EPS of $1.82 on revenue of $21.66B.

Roche Holding ADR had missed expectations on February 1 with fourth quarter EPS of $1.21 on revenue of $15.88B, compared to forecast for EPS of $1.28 on revenue of $16.45B.
