DSW shop-in-shops are coming to the Midwestern Hy-Vee chain of grocers

Designer Brands Inc. said Monday that is bringing its DSW shoe and accessories outlets to six Hy-Vee Inc. supermarkets.
By October 2, six DSW store-in-stores will be in six Hy-Vee grocers in Minneapolis. Additional store-in-stores will launch in 2021. Hy-Vee is a Midwestern supermarket chain.
The store-in-stores will be 1,200 square feet with about 200 shoe choices. Half of the options will be offered on a digital wall where shoppers can place an order for home delivery or pickup during their next trip to Hy-Vee.
Pickup lockers will be available as well.
Designer Brands DBI, -8.03% shares have plunged nearly 61% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index SPX, -1.11% has gained 2.8% for the period.
