Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 2.27%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.27% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 0.44% or 0.7 points to trade at 161.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 0.44% or 12 points to end at 2760 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 0.16% or 0.8 points to 495.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 6.55% or 12.1 points to trade at 171.9 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 4.97% or 72.0 points to end at 1378.0 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 4.88% or 15.7 points to 306.3.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 130 to 29 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.17% or 0.11 to $65.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.19% or 0.13 to hit $68.74 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 13.25 to trade at $1771.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.02% to 6.5679, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4360.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 95.985.
