Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.45%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.45%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 1.05% or 1.05 points to trade at 101.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 0.99% or 4.00 points to end at 408.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.74% or 1.15 points to 157.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 7.13% or 5.56 points to trade at 72.50 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 4.25% or 8.90 points to end at 200.70 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 4.23% or 60.00 points to 1,358.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 52 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.76% or 0.62 to $82.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.90% or 0.81 to hit $90.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.16% or 19.15 to trade at $1,636.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.78% to 7.60, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 112.68.
