Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.24%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.24%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 0.26% or 2.10 points to trade at 819.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell 0.29% or 2.80 points to end at 965.80 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 0.63% or 9.50 points to 1,491.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 5.26% or 24.70 points to trade at 445.30 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 4.69% or 10.60 points to end at 215.40 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 4.56% or 10.90 points to 228.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 117 to 31 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 3-years lows; losing 4.69% or 10.60 to 215.40. Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 0.63% or 9.50 to 1,491.00. Shares in Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.56% or 10.90 to 228.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.29% or 0.27 to $92.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.06% or 0.06 to hit $99.40 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.30% or 23.10 to trade at $1,748.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 7.44, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 108.46.
