Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.51%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.51%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.81% or 17.6 points to trade at 644.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 1.76% or 17.0 points to end at 981.8 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 1.13% or 4.3 points to 384.3 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 4.23% or 48.50 points to trade at 1099.00 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 1.91% or 6.3 points to end at 323.7 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.50% or 20.0 points to 1316.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 66 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.74% or 0.99 to $57.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.24% or 0.74 to hit $60.30 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.39% or 25.15 to trade at $1838.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.05% to 6.1674, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4364.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 90.912.
