Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.13%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.13% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 1.29% or 10.8 points to trade at 845.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 0.81% or 5.7 points to end at 707.6 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 0.58% or 115 points to 20000 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 6.94% or 11.9 points to trade at 159.6 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.43% or 9.0 points to end at 361.7 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.20% or 18.00 points to 798.40.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 74 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 6.94% or 11.9 to 159.6. Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.43% or 9.0 to 361.7. Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.20% or 18.00 to 798.40.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.26% or 2.17 to $68.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.55% or 2.47 to hit $72.14 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 8.55 to trade at $1771.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.5985, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4363.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.418.
