Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.71%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.71%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 3.96% or 5.98 points to trade at 157.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 3.86% or 26.40 points to end at 710.70 and Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) was up 3.38% or 8.80 points to 268.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 3.22% or 5.70 points to trade at 171.30 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 2.49% or 23.60 points to end at 924.40 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.70% or 0.46 points to 65.30.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 75 and 12 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.22% or 5.70 to 171.30. Shares in DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.49% or 23.60 to 924.40.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.89% or 0.75 to $83.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.78% or 0.71 to hit $89.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 4.25 to trade at $1,675.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.94% to 7.53, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.67% at 110.68.
