Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.87%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.87%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 7.31% or 5.04 points to trade at 74.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 7.21% or 53.50 points to end at 795.40 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 4.14% or 10.30 points to 259.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 0.56% or 0.90 points to trade at 158.40 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 0.33% or 2.60 points to end at 784.60 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.05% or 0.05 points to 100.30.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 54 and 11 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.81% or 1.91 to $107.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.63% or 1.78 to hit $110.81 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.35 to trade at $1,806.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.77% to 7.15, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 105.11.
