Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.36%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.36%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 2.68% or 16.3 points to trade at 625.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 1.62% or 2.0 points to end at 125.8 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 1.41% or 5.2 points to 373.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 15.02% or 85.10 points to trade at 481.40 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 4.57% or 7.9 points to end at 166.1 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 4.19% or 6.6 points to 150.8.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 74 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) fell to 52-week lows; down 15.02% or 85.10 to 481.40. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.57% or 7.9 to 166.1.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.80% or 1.50 to $84.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.51% or 1.29 to hit $86.72 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 5.65 to trade at $1847.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 6.5978, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4433.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 96.112.
