Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.08%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 3.34% or 95.0 points to trade at 2936.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.95% or 545 points to end at 19050 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 1.84% or 27.5 points to 1521.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 4.23% or 41.40 points to trade at 937.00 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 3.72% or 9.0 points to end at 233.0 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 3.71% or 20.4 points to 528.8.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 56 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.95% or 545 to 19050.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.40% or 0.28 to $68.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.39% or 0.28 to hit $71.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.95 to trade at $1751.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.3377, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4367.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 92.972.
