If you’re in the market for a new SUV, you might assume that you’ll have to spend big bucks for that extra cargo space and elevated ride height. Luckily, there are more affordable options in the compact and subcompact SUV segments than ever before, making it easy to get an SUV with the latest safety and tech features at a price between $17,000-$22,000.

These are the 10 cheapest SUVs of 2020, ranked by the MSRP of each base model.

Don’t let that low price fool you though — the Venue is equipped with impressive standard safety features, good fuel economy and standard Apple AAPL, +1.45% CarPlay and Android Auto, even on the base model.

2. 2020 Kia Soul — $17,490
